I have been out service for just a bit. During one of the Deer Friends Radnor walks, I took a little spill and tore the ligaments in my left ankle. I spent a little time in a boot, then ankle brace, before I graduated to some physical therapy. I am nearly mended now and back on the trail. Fall is here, but the color is lack luster this year. Despite the drought this past summer and the general brownness, there are always things of beauty and interest. We just have to look a little harder.
We spotted a leaf that looked as if someone had pulled out a marker and traced its veins.
